How the Studio works

Your website fills the screen. The only controls are your Bot and the message box at the bottom; tap the Bot for everything else. It has a name and face that stay with your website. Describe a change, watch it build, then decide whether to keep it.

Asking for a change

Type what you want in the box at the bottom, in your own words: “Make the headline bigger”, “Add our opening hours”, “Use a darker green”. Your Bot thinks, makes the change and double-checks it. You watch the change appear on your website as it happens.

If something really is up to you, like the feel you want or your opening hours, your Bot asks. Tap an answer, add a note, type your own, or tap You Decide and it will choose.

When it’s done, a card asks you to Keep It or Undo it. Nothing is saved until you keep it. Want to keep it and change a bit more? Type in the box on that card: your Bot keeps this change and starts on the next one.

Versions: going back

Every change you keep becomes a version. Tap your Bot at the bottom of the screen, then Versions, to see them newest first, each named after what you asked for.

  1. Tap a version to look at it. Your website shows that version, and nothing is changed yet.
  2. Tap Use This Version to go back to it, or Back to Now to return.

Going back never deletes anything: it adds a new entry to the list, so you can always return to where you were.

Putting it online

Tap your Bot, then Publish. The first time, pick a web address for your website. Anyone with the link can visit it; you can copy or share it straight from there.

Publishing puts your website online as it is right now. When you change it later, the Publish sheet says so; tap Publish Changes to update the live website. If an update goes wrong, tap Put Back Online next to an earlier publish.

Your photos

Tap the photo button beside the message box to add images from your phone: your logo, products, team or shop. Give each one a few words of description, then mention it in a request, like “put the shop photo at the top.” Photos are resized on your phone before they upload.

The AI only uses photos you added. It won’t take images from other websites.

What it costs

Every plan comes with a weekly allowance of changes; your Account page shows how much of it is left and when it refills. Free, Plus and Pro differ in how much the allowance covers, and Plus and Pro go first when the Studio is busy.

A change you’ve started always finishes, even if it uses the last of your allowance. Once it’s used up, new changes wait until your week resets, or until you upgrade in the iPhone app.

What the AI can change

  • Your pages and styles, up to 24 files of 64 KB each.
  • Styling uses Tailwind CSS, a widely used set of ready-made styles, so designs stay consistent.
  • It can’t add new software packages, contact other websites, or store data in visitors’ browsers.
  • Page titles and link previews use the Site Kit.

Phones and browsers

The Studio works in Safari on iPhone and iPad (iOS 16.4 or later) and in current Chrome, Edge and Firefox on computers. To use it like an app on iPhone, open it in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.

Your website runs inside your browser. If you leave for a while and your phone reloads the page, a change you hadn’t kept yet is lost; kept changes are always safe.

Privacy

To make a change, the AI provider (through OpenRouter) receives your request and your website’s files. Your photos are stored with your website so it can show them; the AI sees their names, sizes and descriptions, not the images themselves.
